About the conference

We intend to create an effective environment which renders possible the international academic exchange of ideas and studies about corporate ESG transformation in the BRICS countries and other emerging capital markets. While the world is shifting toward a new multipolar economic and geopolitical arrangement, we believe that discussions dedicated to the influence of global rules of sustainable development on the national driving forces of this agenda in various countries are of utmost importance. It is essential to do research in corporate strategies that respond to challenges related to sustainable development, climate change risks and international competition against the background of transfer to the multipolar world order. It is necessary and important to assess restructuring of corporate models, investment and financial policies, risk management, trends of corporate management and actions of the board of directors, the role of corporate strategies’ transparency and non-financial data quality, changes in financial and product markets and the strengthening role of BRICS+.

The School of Finance implemented this initiative in December 2023 in order to ensure exchange of the findings among research teams from various countries and to establish the foundation for regular annual international discussions.
