Since the beginning of the current academic year, Dr. Héctor Hermida Rivera, who holds a doctoral degree in economics, has joined the faculty of the Department of Theoretical Economics at FES.
Dr. Hermida Rivera is originally from Spain. After earning a bachelor's degree from Pompeu Fabra University and a master's degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation at the University of East Anglia.
Dr. Hermida Rivera's main research interests lie in the fields of social choice, mechanism design, game theory, and political economy. At FES, Dr. Hermida Rivera will teach the course "Applied Market Design" in English for undergraduate students.
