300th Anniversary Seminar: 10 Sports Studies from 2025 Worth Your Attention

The Laboratory of Sports Studies invites everyone to its 300th anniversary seminar, taking place on February 9 at 19:40 in room N509.

Dmitry Dagaev, Head of the Laboratory of Sports Studies, will present an overview of the 10 most significant academic papers of 2025 from various fields of sports science. The discussion will focus on studies spanning sports analytics, sports economics, psychology, and medicine.

The talk will touch on questions such as:

• How does sleep affect athletic performance?
• How effective are hints for chess players?
• What impact does the competition calendar have on athletes' results?
• And many other topics showcasing the diversity of methods and approaches used in modern sports research.
