The Laboratory of Sports Studies invites interested HSE University students and doctoral students to apply for Research Assistant positions. Candidates are expected to be ready to get involved in the laboratory's research projects. No specific prior knowledge is required, although a solid command of basic mathematics courses is desirable, since all of the laboratory's main projects involve data analysis and formal mathematical modelling. This position may suit students aiming to build either an academic career or a career in sport. Laboratory alumni go on to PhD programmes at leading universities worldwide and work at Russian football clubs, sports television channels, and in the sports industry more broadly.
