PhD Student from China Begins Research Internship at the Laboratory for Spatial Econometric Modeling of Socio-Economic Processes in Russsia
Tang Li, a PhD student from Shanghai University, has started her research internship at the Laboratory for Spatial Econometric Modeling of Socio-Economic Processes in Russia. Her work focuses on carbon issues, low-carbon transition, and regional inequality.

2nd International Conference on Sustainable Regional Development in Central Asia
Head of the Laboratory for Spatial Econometric Modeling of Socio-Economic Processes in Russia Olga Demidova took part in the second international conference on sustainable regional development in Central Asia. The conference was promoted by RSAI (the Regional Science Association International) in collaboration with Samarkand branch of Tashkent state university of economics, Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The event took place on May 6–7, 2024.
