The laboratory’s goals include theoretical research, the development of measurement methodologies, regular calculations and the presentation of results.
The laboratory involves students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences as interns in conducting research. Research interns gain theoretical knowledge and acquire skills for processing large disaggregated data, including microdata from observations of households, and learn to effectively use weighting algorithms to obtain more reliable distribution parameter estimates. Students present their results at regular seminars and participate in conferences.
HSE's School of Psychology is launching a new CPD programme ‘Plurilingual Intercultural Creative Keys’ (PICK). The programme was specially developed by the HSE Laboratory for Linguistic, Intercultural and Creative Competencies and is based on the innovative PICK training system designed to improve the skills of school teachers and tutors, as well as parents involved in teaching their children at home. The programme will be taught in Russian.
