HSE University is taking part in the Annual International Conference and Global Summit (AICGS-2023), which began in Phagwara, India, on October 30. This year’s topic of discussion was the new model of international cooperation in the field of sustainable development, as well as the prospects and global challenges faced by universities in the development of international ties today.

Studying at a foreign university has distinct advantages for one's career trajectory, alongside invaluable experience and an expanded array of opportunities. However, students may face considerable stress due to immersion in a different cultural setting and encounter new, sometimes unforeseen, challenges. The session 'Creating an International Environment as a Keystone to Cultivate Talent', hosted by HSE University as part of International Partners' Week, featured discussions by experts and representatives from top universities on how universities assist foreign students in adapting and discovering opportunities for self-actualisation.

On September 27, the 2023 Exchange Fair took place in the atrium of the HSE University building on Pokrovsky Bulvar as part of the annual International Partners’ Week. Representatives of the world’s leading universities told students about the opportunities available under academic mobility programmes.

The forum was held as part of HSE University’s International Partners' Week, which coincides with Russia’s chairship of the EAEU and is aimed at connecting the strategies and initiatives of its participants in the fields of education, science, and technology. The forum was attended by representatives from 23 countries and more than 40 scientific and educational organisations. HSE University’s Support and Career Centre for International Students and Alumni has held orientation sessions for incoming international students. During the meetings, the centre’s experts explained the visa and migration support available, talked about extracurricular student life, and gave tours of the campus and the city.

A delegation from Mofid University has visited HSE University. Representatives of the Iranian university expressed interest in cooperation with HSE in the framework of research projects and educational programmes in the field of economics, legal aspects of the Islamic system of finance and other areas. The parties also discussed the opportunities for launching a joint academic mobility programme.

On May 18, 2023, HSE University and the University of Technology Malaysia signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation at the XIV International Economic Forum ‘Russia—Islamic World: KazanForum’. The agreement was signed by HSE Rector Nikita Anisimov and UTM Vice Chancellor Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail.

On March 21, HSE University Rector Nikita Anisimov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico to the Russian Federation Eduardo Villegas Mejias. The parties agreed to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education.
