Registration for the International Conference "Russia–USSR–Russia: Development OF Russian Economic Thought in the 19th – early 21st Centuries"
The Centre for the History and Methodology of Economic Science (CeHistMet) of HSE University together with the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the New Economic Association are organising an international conference dedicated to the development of Russian economic thought over three centuries.
The conference addresses a wide range of issues in the history of economic thought, including (but not limited to):
- Russian tradition of economic thought
- The relationship between Russian and Western economic thought
- Revolutionary challenges of the early 20th century and their reflection in economic science
- Soviet economic science as a phenomenon of intellectual history
- Russian economic science of the transition period of the 1980s - 1990s
- The role of economic science in the formation of economic policy in the challenges of the 21st century
The Conference will include a presentation of
the Russian Association of Historians of Economic Science.
Selected conference papers may be part of the special issue in leading Russian journals (Scopus indexed).

The acceptance decisions will be made on September 22, 2025.
