PwC about the Russian Premier League’s Season Calendar developed in collaboration with LSS

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has published a comprehensive study of the economics of Russian football (2019/20 season). PwC notes the creation of the League’s calendar based on optimization algorithms in a study among key initiatives aimed at optimizing business process

Earlier in June 2019, the HSE Laboratory of Sport Studies and the Russian Premier League (RPL) agreed on cooperation in creating the Russian Premier League’s Calendar for the 2019/20 season. The developed calendar has been well received in the media. The PwC study confirmed that the creating the ‘smart’ calendar was one of the important introductions of the 2019/20 RPL season.
