Gent University visits HSE, opens Russia Platform
Delegation from Gent University visited HSE to discuss further cooperation and students exchange agreements
Professor Guido Van Huylenbroeck, Academic Director for Internationalisation, Professor Koen Schoors, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (General Economics), Director Russia Platform, Professor Peter Van Elsuwege, Faculty of Law (European, Public and International Law), Professor Dirk Reheul, Faculty of Bioscience Engineering (Plant Production), Mrs. Delfien Cloet, International Office, coordinator Russia Platform and Mr. Wim Stubbe, representative of port of Oostende met the HSE faculties' and international offices heads to discuss further possibilties for cooperation.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between HSE and Gent earlier this year. Gent and HSE also jointly secured Erasmus + funding for exchange students and graduate students. Gent University opens the Russian Platform and announced first call for applications (below).
Ghent University's Russia Platform Short-term Fellowship Program
The Russia Platform welcomes applications for visiting fellows for 2018.
The Russia Platform is one of the six regional platforms of Ghent University. Its ambition is to coordinate, facilitate and stimulate cooperation with Russia and knowledge about Russia in the field of education, research and service to society.
From 2018 onwards the Russia Platform aims to host three visiting fellows every year. Awardees will spend minimum one month for a research stay at Ghent University.
