I Wanted to Have a Different Experience

Alejandro is an exchange student from LUISS University (Rome, Italy) majoring in  Economics and Finance towards bachelor degree. He came to Moscow due to the student exchange partnership between HSE and LUISS.

“I wanted to have a different experience rather than a semester in a European capital. I take Valuation of the Company which is my favorite class. and other courses in the field of Finance such as: Financial Economics, International Finance and Monetary Economics. I like all of them,  and the faculty are well prepared. Comparing with Italy, courses here are a little bit different in a way they are taught. They are more practical and there is more participation of the students here. 

I really like the dorm because there you can meet people from every country around the world, it is near the subway station that is not far from the city center and the last but not the least it is cheap. Most of my free time here I spend visiting the city, but also discos and pubs during the night. I like to play any kind of sport most of the time I play football and when I have time I like to read, I love Dostoevsky. I’ve been in Saint Petersburg and I’m planning to go to Murmansk. I also visited the most important cultural sites here in Moscow like Red Square, Pushkin museum, Saint Basil Cathedral and many more.”
