Faculty Presented at the China-Russia Symposium on Probability Theory
China-Russian Symposium on Probability Theory was held in Beijing from August 28 to September 1. Faculty of economic sciences' associate professors Vladimir Panov and Jean-François Jabir gave presentations and research assistant Ekaterina Morozova took part. The symposium brought together leading experts in probability theory from Russia (members of the Russian Academy of Sciences and faculty of Moscow State, St. Petersburg State University, HSE University, etc.) and China (members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professors from the top universities in China). The latest achievements in the field of probability theory and its applications in economics, finance, insurance and other fields were presented at the Symposium.
