Laboratory of Sport Studies invites new research assistants

Laboratory of Sport Studies is recruiting up to 3 research assistants as part of the additional recruitment of undergraduate and postgraduate students to scientific departments under the HSE Basic Research Program.

We invite undergraduate and postgraduate students of the HSE who are interested in the sports industry to participate in the selection for the position of a research assistant. Research assistants are assumed to work on a fundamental scientific project. During the work, the research assistant will go through all the steps of the scientific research from raising the research question to preparing the text of the paper under the guidance of one of the laboratory staff. Desire to work and high motivation are the key factors at the assessment of the candidates. Ceteris paribus, preference will be given to students who are highly interested in an academic career or career in the sports industry. Interest in the long-term collaboration, as well as excellent academic performance, will be a big plus in the selection process.

Most of the projects of LSS cover the fields of Economics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Nevertheless, we do not put any restrictions on the educational program of the candidates. For example, sports fashion historian Ekaterina Kulinicheva joined the Laboratory of Sport Studies. Ekaterina also recruits research assistants in the project.

To take part in the selection, fill out an application form by March 12 and send a resume by email to the head of the laboratory Dmitry Dagaev.
