Ekaterina Kulinicheva spoke about the research of Olympic fashion at the International Forum for Olympic Education in Beijing

Ekaterina Kulinicheva, a junior research fellow of LSS, spoke at the International Forum for Olympic Education 2021 "Sharing, Education and the Future" with the report "The Design of Olympic uniforms as part of the visual and material Olympic legacy, and its educational potential". In it, Ekaterina presented the results of her research project on the history of the design of Olympic uniforms, and also offered a number of ideas for applied projects in this area that will maximize the educational potential of this type of design for a wide audience. The proposals developed by Ekaterina are aimed at the organizing committees of the Games, national Olympic committees, and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The forum, organized jointly by the Renmin University of China (Beijing, China), the Luiss University (Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli, Rome, Italy), and the Association of Social Sciences Universities Network (SSUN), which includes HSE, was timed to coincide with the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing. Ekaterina Kulinicheva is currently working on a book about the history of Olympic uniform design.
