Students and scholars of the University of Edinburgh School of Economics visited the Higher School of Economics and learned about the teaching and research in economics at the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences

On Wednesday, June 19 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. G. Almukhametova gave a lecture on "Network analysis of scientific interaction on the problems of the Arctic".

On Wednesday, May 15 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. B. Mirkin gave a lecture on B. Mirkin on "Generalization in taxonomies: model, method, applications".

The new patented method is based on a superposition of functions and considerably enhances the speed and precision of Big Data processing. The project’s authors are Fuad Aleskerov, Tenured Professor at HSE and Head of the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis, Laboratory Researchers Sergey Shvydun, Evgeny Mitichkin and Vyacheslav Yakuba, as well as Vyacheslav Chistyakov, Professor at the HSE Campus in Nizhny Novgorod.

Kemal Kivanc Akoz (HSE) examined usage of preemptive and counter offers in multiagent games with full and partial information.
