I Had Amazing Time All Four Years at HSE

Arshak Minasyan, a recent graduate of the Bachelor’s program "Economics" of the Faculty of Economic Sciences takes a chance to thank HSE

I am originally from Yerevan and I graduated from Physics and Mathematics school named after Artashes Shahinyan. I was admitted to HSE via International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and originally applied to the Faculty of Mathematics. Then I changed my mind and chose the Faculty of Economic Sciences and have no regrets about this decision. My strong mathematical background and olympiad experience gained from school were especially crucial during my undergraduate studies. The ability for analytical thinking helped me a lot, even in daily life, and HSE played a huge role in developing this and many other skills. Besides the courses taught at the Faculty of Economic Sciences I took a number of courses from the HSE Faculty of Mathematics.

I am extremely thankful to my professors, faculty members and to all those people who made it possible for me to be a part of this great academic community. HSE is a unique educational institution and it gave me an opportunity to learn and practice in the fields of my scientific and professional interests. I also thank HSE for being such a great place with open-minded, creative and talented people. I had amazing time all  four years at HSE.

I’ve recently graduated from HSE and received the Academic Excellence Award. Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (SkolTech) offered me the MSc  Program  in  Information  Science  and  Technology for 2016-2018. I can’t wait to start this program in the upcoming fall semester.
