The event was organised by the BRICS Expert Council–Russia. The main expert at the session was Ali Benouari, formerly holding positions as Algeria's Minister of Treasury and an expert at the Committee on Public Debt, now an advisor to Algeria's Ministers of Finance and Economy.

BRICS Antimonopoly Authorities to Join Forces in Regulating Grain Markets
More than 70% to 80% of the calories we consume are derived from grain products. However, the global grain market today is dominated by a small group of traders. The HSE International BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre has proposed establishing an intergovernmental BRICS platform on fair competition to serve as a new mechanism for coordinating the efforts of antimonopoly authorities in regulating global markets. This topic was discussed at an international seminar in Cairo.

Following the meeting with participants of the 3rd Young Scientists Congress, Russian President Vladimir Putin assigned the government to include the creation and launch of small spacecraft in a new national project. Universities will also be involved in the project. Dmitrii Abrameshin, Head of the Mission Control Centre at the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics at HSE University, spoke about the mechanism of small satellites and which satellites have already been launched by HSE University.
