Over 180 international applicants have accepted their admission offers to the Bachelor's and Master's programs at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at HSE University. HSE University faculty presented at the 5th International Conference “The World Economy in the Great Changes 2023”, sponsored by the School of Economics of Shanghai University

HSE University Faculty of Economic Sciences took an active part in International Partners’ Week, just finished at HSE. The week was attended by representatives of 23 countries, including the new partners of the Faculty of Economic Sciences - the University of Cape Coast and the University of Ghana. One of the purposes of the visit of representatives of Ghanaian universities was to sign the MOU’s with HSE University. Agreements will enable academic and cultural cooperation between universities, as well as establish academic exchanges.

China-Russia Symposium on Probability Theory was held in Beijing at the end of August. Faculty of Economic Sciences' associate professors Vladimir Panov and Jean-François Jabir gave presentations and research assistant Ekaterina Morozova participated. Symposium brought together leading experts in probability theory from Russia and China. The latest achievements in the field of probability theory and its applications in economics, finance, insurance and other fields were presented at the Symposium.

Academic scholarships program for top students of the Master's Program Economics and Economic Policy extended for the 2023-2024 academic year. First-year students of the Behavioral Economics and Research Track at Master's program Economics and Economic Policy will begin receiving increased scholarship from the second semester based on their GPAs

Undergraduate, master students and alumni are iniviting all HSE students and alumni from Africa to join newly establishing African Chapter at the HSE University. They have ambitious plans to discuss and implement together in Moscow

Sino-Russian Economic Cooperation Workshop "Economic Performance from Regional Aspects" organized by the HSE University Centre for Spatial Econometrics in Applied Macroeconomic Research and the Shanghai University School of Economics to be held on 5th November 2022 at 3 pm Shanghai time, 10 am Moscow time
