The Department is a joint project of Higher School of Economics (HSE) and Moscow Exchange (MOEX) that operates unique multi-asset trading platform at which stocks, bonds, derivatives, currency, money instruments and goods.
For the last 14 years Economics Department has been cooperating with MOEX by organizing joint conferences on financial markets, MOEX workers have regularly participated in «Financial engineering» and «Financial markets and institutions» workshops for Master programs. For bachelors the workshop on Quick Junior program was organized, multiple MOEX departments hired HSE students as interns. By the end of 2018 Department of Infrastructure of Financial Markets was established.
