The majority of foreign students at HSE University feel at home, are happy with their study experience and would apply here again if given the choice. They would also recommend HSEUniversity to others. These are the results of a survey of international students published in the latest edition of the That's So HSE newsletter.

People with higher education enjoy higher salaries and are at considerably less risk of unemployment. These topics were discussed by Viktor Rudakov, Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Head of the International Laboratory for Institutional Analysis of Economic Reforms, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, HSE University, in an open lecture on ‘How and Where to Study to Become Successful in the Labour Market’.

International admissions are now open at HSE University. A number of international applicants have already passed all of the selection rounds and successfully enrolled in Master’s and Bachelor’s programmes. HSE News Service spoke with several students about their reasons for choosing HSE University and their experience applying to the University.

If you are an international applicant, you still have time to apply for scholarships from HSE University. The full-tuition scholarships are awarded annually in May. This year, the Scholarship Committee will meet for the last time on May 27, 2021 to determine who receives full and partial scholarships.

Though a native of South Korea, Daeun Han went to school in Moscow, so attending a Russian university and taking classes in Russian did not pose a big challenge for her. She is currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at HSE University. As a third-year student, she finds herself getting more and more interested in different aspects of economics.
