Shanghai University partners visit to the Faculty of Economic Sciences, HSE University
A warm welcome to the delegation of colleagues from China!
On June 27, 2025, the Faculty of Economic Sciences at HSE University hosted a delegation from the School of Economics at Shanghai University, a partner of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and the International College of Economics and Finance.
The delegation was represented by the Dean Prof. Feng Yin and Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Jing Tan.
The main goal of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for expanding cooperation between the partners, specifically the development of academic exchange and the organization of joint events for students and faculty from both the School of Economics and the Faculty of Economic Sciences.

— Sergei Grishunin, Associate Professor at the School of Finance;
— Kirill Bukin, Academic Supervisor of the "Economics" program;
— Viacheslav Sirotin, Academic Supervisor of the "Economics and Statistics" program;
— Valeriya Latypova, Head of the International Office at the Faculty of Economic Sciences.
During the visit, the representatives from the School of Economics at Shanghai University were informed about the main areas of educational and research activities at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at HSE University and discussed opportunities for implementing joint projects, including academic seminars, conferences, and summer schools. Prof. Feng Yin and Assoc. Prof. Jing Tan also shared information about educational programs and projects at the School of Economics at Shanghai University. Special attention was given to the development of academic mobility for students, PhD students, and academic staff.
The parties discussed opportunities for collaboration within the “Digital Professors” program and agreed to exchange information about upcoming scientific and educational events held at partner universities. The visiting participants also took a campus tour of HSE University building on Pokrovsky Boulevard and visited the library.

During the recent visit of their delegation to FES, we explored ways to enhance our partnership through joint workshops, various research initiatives, and other academic activities. Together, we are committed to deepening our engagement and expanding opportunities for students and faculty members.
The visit of the delegation from the School of Economics at Shanghai University to the Faculty of Economic Sciences marked an important step in strengthening ties between HSE University and one of China's leading educational institutions. The outcomes of this meeting will serve as a solid foundation for further collaboration and the creation of new opportunities for students and academic staff from both sides.
