Economics and Economic Policy Master Program at HSE

Starting September 2021, master programs Applied Economics and Economics: Research Programme will merge to become tracks of the newly established program Economics and Economic Policy. Research track will be taught entirely in English, while in two other tracks - Economic Policy and Applied Economics, instruction will be available in English and Russian.

From Europe and America to Africa and Australia: International Admissions 2020 Attract Applicants from around the World

Every October, HSE University sums up the results of that year’s international student admissions campaign. This year, due to the pandemic, the University quickly reorganized admissions procedures and began holding all events and consultations remotely. In total, 9,324 students from 156 countries applied to undergraduate and graduate programmes at HSE University. For the 2020/2021 year, HSE welcomed 2,214 students from all over the world to its campuses. This is an 11% increase in international enrollments from last year.

How will the new academic year start for international students?

Classes will begin on-campus on September 1 (for some graduate programmes on October 1), and wearing masks in university buildings and dormitories will be mandatory for all students and teachers. At the same time, all foreign students must obtain additional certificates before arriving in Russia
