Petr Garmider, 27, from Uzbekistan, received his master’s degree from HSE University in 2022. Today, he works at one of Russia’s most popular music streaming services, where he develops algorithms that recommend music tracks for users. At the end of 2023, HSE University launched its International Mentoring Programme, where international alumni help current students adapt to the new environment, develop their personal skills, set goals, and make clear plans for job search and career growth. Maria Maslennikova, a graduate of HSE FES, chose two paths at once as a specialist: she succeeded in both consulting and investment banking and gained the trust of the international market to such a degree that she now works as an independent consultant. Zaruhi Hakobyan, master’s graduate of the HSE University Faculty of Economic Sciences and research scientist at the University of Luxembourg, is involved not only in research but also in organising academic events for young scientists and students. As a foreign graduate of HSE University, Zaruhi was nominated for the HSE Alumni Awards ‘for her tireless enthusiasm in popularising economic science, teaching, and research at the international level’ and made the shortlist.

Daria Morozova graduated from the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences (FES) with a degree in Economics and Corporate Finance in 2016, then earned a Master's in Financial Markets and Institutions from HSE FES in 2018. She completed an internship at the Finance Department of Nike Inc., worked as a specialist at the Finance Department of Sovcombank in 2016–2017, and worked at Raiffeisenbank in 2017–2018. In 2018, she was hired to a senior manager position with Rosbank. She currently heads the Retail Business Analysis and Planning Office of the bank's Financial Management Department.
