Eric Maskin: Social Choice Theory with a Poverty Line

Eric Maskin, Nobel Laureate, Co-Director of International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis gave research seminar on the topic of "Social Choice Theory with a Poverty Line"

On December 9 december Eric Maskin gave a talk devoted to poverty research at Shabolovka campus of HSE. In his most recent research findings he investigates social welfare functions when interpersonal comparisons are possible and there is an absolute reference point (e.g., a “poverty line”).

 The talk was attended by the HSE professors and students.
