‘We Want to Make Sure that International Students Have Fulfilling Academic and Personal Lives’
The Council of the International Student Association (CISA) works to ensure that international students can live and study comfortably at HSE University and in Russia in general. At present, CISA consists of nine international students and its Chair. Its current activities include dealing with border closures, arranging vaccinations, and creating information channels for international students.
HSE University Holds Career Marathon
At the end of April, HSE University hosted a Career Marathon in both offline and online formats. Representatives from 42 companies and several thousand students from HSE and many other universities took part in the event. For two days, the marathon participants attended poster sessions in the Pokrovka atrium, along with master classes from event partners, an interactive photo zone, and prize and merchandise draws, as well as experiencing an open dialogue with experts, and express interviews for current vacancies and internships.

Research that Will Help Fight Corruption
Emmanuel Adu Sarfo, 23, from Ghana, is a second-year master's student on the HSE Economics and Economic Policy programme. He is carrying out research on the ancient roots of corruption that influence its prevalence in different countries. Olga Krylova, a visually impaired junior at the Joint HSE NES undergraduate program majoring in economics after two years of hopping between on campus and online studying at Pokrovka Campus of HSE and NES campus at Skolkovo, Moscow, found herself in a small town of less than 30,000 population in American Southwest - Cedar City - Gate to the National Park system, home of the Southern Utah University (12 thousand undergrads) and Utah Shakespeare Festival, capital of Iron county of the state of Utah

Alexandra Antonova, a junior from the HSE - NES undergraduate program in economics chose to study her third year of bachelor program in a partner university - Dickinson College in Carlisle, a small town in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, with a population of just a bit larger than 20K. Dickinson College students make more than 12% of the town population
Program of Academic Scholarships Extended
Academic scholarships program for top students of the Master's Program Economics and Economic Policy extended for the 2022-2023 academic year. First-year students of the Behavioral Economics and Research Track at Master's program Economics and Economic Policy will begin receiving increased scholarship from the second semester based on their GPAs
