April 14, 2016 saw the opening of the exhibition "Aenigma" by Italian photographer Eduardo Fiorito, who is the brightest representative of conceptual photography in Italy, active participant in solo exhibitions in the leading Roman art galleries, and winner of the international photo prizes and special photo awards.
Eduardo Fiorito works in the direction of conceptual and narrative photography, with a specific focus on Nature and Environment issue. The project "Aenigma", divided into three chapters (Childhood, Age of Light e Earth), shows the long and passionate research on the evolution of the image made by the photographer throughout the years and in several countries including Italy, Brazil, Egypt, Malta Republic, Croatia, Iceland, Costa Rica, with a specific focus dedicated to the origin of the Roman monumentality and to the sacredness of its artistic panorama.
Project curator is Daria Nikolyuk, manager of the International office of the Faculty of Economic Sciences.
HSE Students and teachers, representatives of the Italian Embassy, Moscow gallerists and journalists of art magazines, photographers and people who are interested in art and Italian culture came to support the opening of the exhibition and talk with the photographer.
In the framework of the project with HSE, photographer also gave two master classes on 15th and 16th April where he led students through the practical realization of their own specific project.
The exhibition will last until April 23 at the Faculty of Communications, Media, and Design at MaliyTrehsvyatitelsky per. 8/2, build.1.
