Founded in 1992, the HSE Faculty of Economics is the university’s oldest faculty. In the years since it was founded, it has gained a reputation as Russia’s leader in terms of higher economic education.
A fundamental education in modern economic theory and mathematics is combined with the study of applied disciplines, such as taxation, budget policies and processes, financial management and other related fields.

Just Graduated!
Graduation is a special event, filled with the proud sight of alumni in their beautiful robes, families being in the audience, and the inspiring sounds of the student anthem "Gaudeamus" at the beginning of the ceremony. The flipping of tassels and tossing of academic caps in the air, along with heartfelt congratulations from faculty representatives and our esteemed industrial partners are all part of this memorable celebration. We were honored to have representatives from four esteemed banks—VTB, Sber, Sovcombank, and Novikom—join us in celebrating the graduates and present them with memorable gifts. We are grateful to HeadHunter for kindly hosting the lobby of the Cultural Center with some fantastic activities for guests!
In keeping with tradition, the Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Professor Sergey Pekarsky awarded FES graduates with the much-anticipated red diplomas and commemorative pins, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. We recognize the great effort that goes into earning a red diploma! Our partners offered gifts to those graduates who have succeeded in achieving one!
Elena Burmistrova, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, also delivered a touching farewell speech at the ceremony. During their time at FES, our graduates not only studied hard, but they also took part in the social and cultural life of the faculty, making the most of their time there!
The graduates were thrilled to receive blue diplomas and commemorative pins from their beloved academic supervisors of educational programs and the representatives of the Faculty of Economic Sciences!
At the ceremony, graduates had the incredible opportunity to share their amazing academic, career, and life accomplishments! And the best part? They were broadcast on stage during the diploma awarding!
The ceremony ended on a high note with a photo session! Guests enjoyed the photo booth from HeadHunter and had the chance to win prizes and memorable gifts in the hall of Cultural Centre!
