HSE Students Win Oliver Wyman Impact Case Competition
Angelina Volosevich, Marina Goncharenko, Tamerlan Tuaev and Malika Shaikhutdinova, first-year students from the 'Strategic Corporate Finance' Master’s programme have won ‘Oliver Wyman Impact 2017’, a business case competition that was held on March 3rd at the Ararat Park Hyatt Hotel, Moscow.

Lijia Lin is a first-year student in the English-taught Strategic Corporate Finance Master’s Programme at the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences. He was born and raised in Beijing and, after finishing high school, studied economics and mathematics at the University of Michigan in the United States. When Lijia Lin graduated in December 2015, his advisor suggested that he continued his education at the Higher School of Economics.

The new master program Statistical Modelling and Actuarial Science is for students interested in mastering modern probability, statistics methodology, and modelling methods in economic processes, as well as mathematics of insurance theory.
