Students of the Faculty of Economics Won the Case Championship ‘Sanofi Health Guardians’

On February 24 – 25 the semifinal and final of the largest championship in the pharmaceutical field, theSanofi Health Guardians, took place in Moscow. Students from the ICEF and HSE Faculty of Economics Radmila Khusainova, German Bushin, Ivan Fokin, Kamila Musina, Alexander Nosulich and Oleg Kheifets won the contest. 

During the championship 347 teams from Russia solved several difficult cases in the Harvard format. In the business section, participants had to develop a leadership strategy for their portfolio of pharmaceutical generic medicines to ensure these medicines entered the top three in the next 5 years.

The 10 best teams made it to the semifinal, during which the participants presented their business solutions before several high level managers of Sanofi. The five finalists created a marketing strategy for a new medicine and presented it to the judges and the other participants.

The participants of the team ‘Concordia’ Radmila Khusainova, German Bushin, Ivan Fokin (HSE) and Maxim Nazarov (RANEPA) took first place. The members of the team ‘H$E BULLS’ (HSE) Kamila Musina, Alexander Nosulich, Oleg Kheifets and Dmitry Sergachev also made it to the finals.
