Public lecture by Nobel Laureate Eric Maskin

Faculty of Economic Sciences hosted Nobel Laureate Eric Maskin with the lecture "How Presidents Should be Elected".
Eric Maskin is Nobel Laureate in Economics, Adams University Professor at Harvard University Chief Research Fellow at International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis.
His research interests include agricultural economics, social choice theory, entrepreneurship, finance, the history and philosophy of economics, industrial organization, international trade, rights and intellectual property, microeconomics, public economics, public finance, innovational economics, technology and industrial dynamics.
Professor Maskin presented his research on the topic of presidental elections. The Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences Oleg Zamulin, and Head of the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis Fuad Aleskerov  also participated in the lecture. Everyone had an opportunity to ask the Nobel laureate questions and take photos with him.
