Faculty of Economic Sciences is proud to welcome Dr. Behrang Kamali, new Assistant Professor of the Department of Theoretical Economics, hired by the faculty under HSE University international recruitment procedure.

Oghogho Joy Isibor came to HSE University after earning a scholarship from the Faculty of Economic Sciences for her performance in the International Economics Olympiad. She is one of several foreigners to apply via the same competition. Oghogho is currently studying on the HSE University Preparatory Year Programme before starting her Economics degree. A variety of unique buildings, museums, exhibition halls, libraries, and cultural centres in Moscow will be open to the public free of charge

Art enthusiasts are in for a treat at two newly opened exhibitions in Moscow. The first one is ‘Dialogue in Time and Space–Russian Art of XX–XXI Centuries’ at MMOMA, which showcases the evolution of Russian art from the 20th century to the present. The other exhibition is ‘Artist Tkachev—On the 100th Anniversary of Sergei Tkachev’ at the Tretyakov Gallery. These exhibitions offer an opportunity to explore the rich history and diverse art forms that have emerged from Russia.

HSE University took first place in the 2022 ranking of the top universities in Russia according to HeadHunter, the biggest online recruitment company in Russia. Its rankings are based on employer demand for graduates of Russian universities whose CVs are available on the hh.ru website.

Experts have calculated that the number of international students in Russia has grown six times over the last decade, and researchers say that many of those who are studying today would like to stay in the country.
