Faculty of Economic Sciences is proud to welcome Dr.James Tremewan, new Assistant Professor of the Department of Theoretical Economics, hired by the faculty under HSE University international recruitment procedure.

Welcome aboard!

Originally from New Zealand, Dr. James Tremewan got BA at Victoria University Wellington and pursued his MA and Ph.D at Toulouse School of Economics.
He had been working as an Assistant Professor at Vienna University from 2011 to 2017. Than he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland from 2018 to 2021. He has 12 publications in high ranked international academic journals. His primary research fields are Experimental and Behavioural Economics. In the upcoming academic year James will be teaching Experimetrics at the new Master's Programme "Economics and Economic Policy".
