Students of the School of Finance took part in the Iseo Summer School, a school with Nobel laureates, which was held in a small town in Italy - in the province of Brescia. This year topic was: “The World After. Challenges Ahead for the Global Economy”. This summer school was organized by the I.S.E.O. and has been running since 2004.

Egor Pashkov, Corporate Finance Center fellow researcher and a first-year Master in Financial Markets and Institutions, took part in the annual 19th International Summer School of Economics I.S.E.O. Summer School, organized by the I.S.E.O Institute (Institute for Studies on Economics and Employment), and shared his impressions.

A series of plenary sessions, master classes, and seminars is underway in the Kazakh capital as part of the HSE Days event at the Miras international school and Astana International University. Guests of the interactive research and educational intensive will learn about the latest achievements in humanitarian science, management, and processes for building sustainable communication with partners from Eurasian countries.

Arina Ogurtsova is studying on HSE University’s full-time online Master’s programme in Economic Analysis while also taking the Python Developer course at Yandex Practicum. HSE University took first place in the 2022 ranking of the top universities in Russia according to HeadHunter, the biggest online recruitment company in Russia. Its rankings are based on employer demand for graduates of Russian universities whose CVs are available on the hh.ru website.

Getting a master's degree with honours in ‘Management in Technical Systems’ was not the end point of Evgenia Fadina’s educational trajectory. This first-year student on the HSE online master’s programme ‘Economic Analysis’ works in the project office of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Her digital master's degree will help her achieve career success in executive bodies, she believes.

For the third year running, HSE University has come first in the ranking of the 100 best universities in Russia, published for the fifth time by Forbes magazine.

On December 19, HSE Rector Nikita Anisimov and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov met in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The parties agreed to implement a joint project to train staff for the economic block of the government of the republic. As part of the project’s first stage, the Higher School of Economics of Kyrgyzstan will be created on the basis of the Training Center of the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan with full methodological support from HSE University. This was a new systematic step in expanding cooperation between HSE University and the Government of Kyrgyzstan.
