Midterm exams are over and a second year master student Edoardo Alberti sends a small feedback on his experience at Erasmus. At HSE Edoardo is studying at the master programStrategic Corporate Finance. On successful graduation from Erasmus University he will defend his thesis at HSE and get two diplomas - HSE and Erasmus.

The Moscow-based Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Higher School of Economics, a highly selective educational institution specializing in economics and finance,  would like to invite undergraduate and Master's-level students to experience study abroad at one of Russia’s best universities.

Oxford University Summer School on Economic Networks hosted HSE doctoral student

In June 2017  Zaruhi Hakobyan, a graduate first year student of the HSE Doctoral school in economics, took part in the Summer School on Economic Networks, organized by the Mathematical Institute of Oxford University. The summer school and the Faculty of Economic Sciences sponsored Zaruhi Hakobyan's  travel and accommodation expenses.

Economics Major Wins Bronze in the First HSE 5 km Run

The first official fun-run organized by HSE as part of events to mark the 25th anniversary of its founding has taken place in Gorky Park. It drew 290 participants. Daniil Myasoyedov, HSE sophomore, came third. Congratulations!

This year, 15 students and graduates of HSE's Faculty of Economics were admitted to PhD programmes at leading universities in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. Eight of them are undergraduates:

Joint Journey to a Fictional World

Creation of this anthology was a collective effort. This class has drawn the students closer together; they have become not only friends but soul mates. This project has also enabled each of the students to discover their unexpected talents, which will stay with them well beyond the Joint BAE Program at HSE-NES.

First place in Fujifilm Future Challenge

Albert Arutiunian, second-year HSE Master’s student, chose Tilburg University as a place to study abroad in autumn 2016. There, he joined the Tilburg University team, and here is his story.
