On may 14, at 14: 00, the next joint webinar between FEN and ICEF was held, in which Alessia Paccanini from University College in Dublin spoke with the topic of the report: "The Asymmetric Effects of Uncertain Shocks (joint with Valentina Colombo)."

On May 07, at 13:00, the next joint webinar between FES and ICEF was held, in which Anna Pavlova from the London Business School made a presentation on the topic: "Is There Too Much Benchmarking in Asset Management?"

HSE-EACES workshop “Public Procurement in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia” was successfully held on April 9 th in online format by using the Zoom platform.

At the close of 2019, HSE University once again ranked first among Russian organizations in the RePEc/IDEAS (Research Papers in Economics) world ranking and advanced to a record-breaking 129^th place. The ranking evaluates economic, academic, and research institutions based on their publication activity in economics.

The parties agreed to cooperate on issues related to the improvement of legislation and law enforcement practices in an area that is the subject of research activity at HSE University.

From September 27-29, HSE University St. Petersburg hosted the Analytics for Management and Economics Conference (AMEC). HSE’s annual student research paper competition has begun accepting applications for the 2019 cycle. The competition is open not only to students of HSE University but to students of any university, both in Russia and abroad. You can submit research papers in Russian or in English. The application deadline is October 15.

Starting from the 2016-2017 academic year Faculty of Economic Sciences has launched a new international seminar series. The series host many established scholars as well as young promising economists from various respectable universities worldwide.
