On November 11, 2024, the HSE Faculty of Economic Sciences hosted a celebration for Economist Day. Many of the university's partners came to congratulate HSE on the occasion. The atrium on Pokrovsky Bulvar hosted booths from VkusVill, Ozon, HeadHunter, Wildberries, and other leading companies. Students and professors participated in quizzes, spun the wheel of fortune, painted, and crafted.

Forbes Education has released a new ranking of the top 20 Russian universities with the most trusted degrees, based on a survey of the country's leading companies. HSE University tops the list, followed by Lomonosov Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University, and Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

The Faculty of Economic Sciences celebrated its 32^nd birthday. Students, graduates, teachers, and friends gathered for the traditional EconomFest at HSE University on Pokrovsky Bulvar. The event featured quizzes from language clubs, contests, lectures, and meetings with teachers. Festival guests enjoyed dancing, drawing lessons, new acquaintances and a three-tier cake, ie everything needed to make it a truly special event.

April 23–25, 2024, international students of preparatory departments and faculties, as well as undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, and prospective researchers from Russian and international universities, took part in the 4th International Conference ‘Scientific Initiative of International Students and Postgraduates’ in Tomsk. The event was organised by Tomsk Polytechnic University and covered trends in modern research, problems in social sciences and humanities, project-based learning in engineering, science as vocation and career, etc. For the second year, students of the HSE Preparatory Year Programme took part in the conference.

Professor of the School of Finance Dmitry Tikhomirov is included in the list of winners of the annual competition “Golden Names of Higher School”. The nomination - for the development of practice-oriented higher education.

From September 25–29, HSE University hosted International Partners’ Week, which was attended by representatives from 23 countries. As part of the event, a series of cooperation and exchange agreements was signed with universities and organisations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ghana, China, and Japan.
