Ndubuisi Johnbosco Ezenwa, 28, is a recent graduate of the Master’s in Strategic Corporate Finance at the HSE University Faculty of Economic Sciences. In 2023, he won first place in the Finance category of the Student Research Paper Competition (SRPS) for his paper ‘Impact of the Target Firm's ESG Rating on the Bid Premium Paid in M&A Transactions.’ Although he returned to Nigeria in July 2023, Ndubuisi still has plenty to share about his time at HSE University in Moscow. Diksha Khosla came to HSE University-Moscow from the northern Indian state of Punjab. She currently studies on the Master’s in Strategic Corporate Finance at the Faculty of Economic Sciences. Diksha spoke to the HSE News Service about the challenges and opportunities available to international students in Russia, adjusting to the Moscow vibe, and her efforts to showcase and celebrate Indian culture at HSE University.

Wenrui Zhang, from China, is a recent graduate of theMaster’s in Economics and Economic Policy at the HSE UniversityFaculty of Economic Sciences. Having successfully defended his master’s thesis on the impact of COVID-19 on the incomes of vulnerable groups, Wenrui has set his sights on publishing his research and enrolling in adoctoral programme at the university.
