Olga Krylova, a visually impaired junior at the Joint HSE NES undergraduate program majoring in economics after two years of hopping between on campus and online studying at Pokrovka Campus of HSE and NES campus at Skolkovo, Moscow, found herself in a small town of less than 30,000 population in American Southwest - Cedar City - Gate to the National Park system, home of the Southern Utah University (12 thousand undergrads) and Utah Shakespeare Festival, capital of Iron county of the state of Utah

Alexandra Antonova, a junior from the HSE - NES undergraduate program in economics chose to study her third year of bachelor program in a partner university - Dickinson College in Carlisle, a small town in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, with a population of just a bit larger than 20K. Dickinson College students make more than 12% of the town population

The results of the 2022 student vote for Best Teachers of HSE University have been announced. This year, there are more winners among international faculty than ever before. The HSE News Service talked to 2022 winners Cemal Eren Arbatli and Arnab Roy Chowdhury about their attitude to students’ assessment of teachers, their experience of positive and negative feedback, and the challenges of teaching online.

In May 2022, Prof. Eduardo Pontual Ribeiro from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, conducted an online master class for early-career researchers at HSE University on ‘Research in Economics of Multi-Sided Platforms’, which included feedback on research papers on the topic. On November 9, 2021, HSE University signed a memorandum of understanding with Wageningen University & Research, a major university in the Netherlands and one of the leading agricultural research institutes in the world. Participants of the signing ceremony included HSE University Rector Nikita Anisimov, President of the Wageningen University & Research Executive Board Professor Louise Fresco, and Dutch Ambassador to Russia Gilles Beschoor Plug.

Faculty of Economic Sciences and HSE Business Incubator invite students from HSE University and HSE partner universities to participate in the Challenge on Sustainable Fashion and Slow Circular Economy - 2021. Deadline for the project submission is March 15, 2021.
