During the second day of the Autumn school on Current Trends in Decision-making Analysis participants heard the presentations by Michel Grabisch, Agnieszka Rusinowska, and William Thomson.

Twelve photographs of Moscow landmarks and skyline made in summer by Johnson Chow Chun Shing, an intern at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, are currently on display at Shabolvoka building. Participants of the Autumn School "Modern Trends in Decision Theory" were invited to the gala opening and were the first guests of the exhibition. The Faculty of Economic Sciences' Dean, Oleg Zamulin welcomed the guests, and, together with the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis Head Professor Fuad Aleskerov cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

On November 7, the Autumn school on Current Trends in Decision-making Analysis opened. The event is organized by the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis. Among the invited lecturers there are outstanding academics and researchers: Itzhak Gilboa, Theocharis Grigoriadis, Michel Grabisch, Gabrielle Demange, Saptarshi Mukherjee, Stefan Napel, Agnieszka Rusinowska, William Thomson, and Katarína Cechlárová.

First PhD seminar was hosted by the HSE Doctoral School of Economics. Three students  presented results of their research and received feedback from Hartmut Lehmann, Leading research Fellow at the HSE Centre for Labour Market Studies

International admissions for HSE’s Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes are now open. This year, HSE is inviting applications for 52 Bachelor’s and 166 Master’s programmes across its four campuses. A number of programmes are taught in English and offer double-degree opportunities. International students can apply online. Early applications may be eligible for scholarships and tuition fee waivers.

The Award was granted during SEA annual meeting in Bratislava this September, for the research paper "Persistent overconfidence: Evidence from a randomized control trial in Uganda"
