Graduate of HSE University and UniLu Dual Degree Master programs Tobi Oladiran from Nigeria reflects on his experience and takeaway from the HSE University Master program Strategic Corporate Finance with Aigerim Omarbekova from Kazakhstan, also a first-year international student of the Strategic Corporate Finance program.

Starting from 1 November international students can apply online to study at HSE University and Faculty of Economic Sciences

Zaruhi Hakobyan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Yerevan, her Master’s from HSE University, and her PhD from both HSE University and the University of Luxembourg. She spoke to the HSE News Service about the differences in academic approaches at various universities.

Future Tech, an interuniversity case championship organized by the Moscow City Innovation Agency, has announced its results. 32 university teams from eight Russian cities participated in the competition. The awarding ceremony took place at the Digital Business Space on Pokrovka.

For the second year in a row, a team representing Brazil won the team-level gold medal of the International Economics Olympiad. Silver was taken by Indonesia’s team, while Russia’s team took bronze. In the assessment of individual participants, Russian participants won three gold medals and two bronze medals.

Any student or 2020 graduate of a Russian or international university is eligible to take part in the Student Research Paper Competition. Papers can be submitted from September 1 to October 15. The competition has been held at HSE University since 2003.

This year, for the first time in its history, one of HSE’s biggest events will be held online. More than 40,000 participants from 183 countries have already registered for the Open Doors Scholarship Competition. The competition, which is held by the Association of Global Universities, gives international applicants the opportunity to enroll tuition-free in a Master’s programme of a participating Russian university of their choice without having to take entrance exams. The deadline to submit your portfolio for consideration is December 18.

On November 27, the HSE University held its 18^th annual Golden HSE Award Ceremony in honour of colleagues who have demonstrated excellence in research or have contributed in a meaningful way to the HSE community. The special occasion coincided with the university’s 27^th anniversary.
